Burned Aircraft Engines , Singapore Airlines Apologizes to Passengers


Singapore - The aircraft belonging to the airline Singapore Airlines (SIA) engine problems when the air to Milan, Italy. The aircraft was flying back to Singapore and suddenly one of the engines caught fire after the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft's emergency landing at Changi Airport, Singapore. SIA airline apologized to all passengers for the incident. SIA has also prepared another plane to fly the passengers to Milan. In a letter that was distributed to all passengers, as reported by the media Straits Times, Monday (06/27/2016), SIA airline apologized for the incident. SIA also said it would cooperate fully with the authorities in the investigation into the incident. Previously, SIA stated as reported by Reuters on Monday (6/27/2016), an indication of the aircraft's fuel warning lights up when the plane was airborne to Milan, Italy on Monday (27/6) morning. The plane carrying 222 passengers and 19 crew decided to fly back to Changi. Shortly after the plane made an emergency landing at Changi Airport, at about 06:50 local time, the right of the plane's engines burst into flames. Emergency personnel tried to put out the fire engines of the aircraft. Fortunately there were no fatalities or injuries in this incident. "Passengers were evacuated through the plane and taken to the terminal building by bus. The passengers will be transferred to another plane scheduled to fly to Milan today," SIA said in a statement. Separately, Singapore's media, Channel News Asia reported SIA plane with the flight number SQ368 took off at 02:05 local time. But after two hours on the air, the pilot announced their engine problems and the plane will fly back to Singapore.
